Nahma Golf Club has run weekly leagues every season since well before anyone working here can remember. Three nights a week, regulars show up, play nine holes, and stick around at the clubhouse after. That is what a golf community looks like.
The leagues run from mid-May through early September, following the course's open season. No handicap system required to join. No prior league experience required. You show up on league night, you are in.
The course is a 9-hole public layout on Big Bay de Noc, established in 1922. It is a place where the same people have played the same holes for decades. The leagues are a big part of why.
The men's weekly league has been a Tuesday night fixture at Nahma for years. Competitive enough to keep things interesting. Relaxed enough that you will want to come back next week. Skill levels across the board are welcome.
The Wednesday scramble is open to everyone. Men, women, couples, visitors. The scramble format keeps the pace up and makes it easy to play with people you have never met.
Thursday nights belong to the women's league. A consistent group of regulars, a nine-hole course with views of Big Bay de Noc, and a full bar waiting at the clubhouse after the round. New players are always welcome.
The Wednesday All Scramble is fully open — new players are welcome any week, no commitment needed. Just show up at 6 PM or give us a call first.
The Tuesday Men's League and Thursday Women's League are filling up for the season, but both still have room for alternates and subs. If you want to fill in when a regular can't make it, call (906) 644-2648 and we'll get your name on the list.

Arrive by 6 PM on your chosen night. Bring your clubs. That is all you need.
Nine holes takes about two hours. The clubhouse is open after with food and a full bar. That is where the real league experience happens.
